Intro
Picking a modpack for your Minecraft server? Here are the packs worth hosting in 2026, and how much RAM each one really needs.
All The Mods 10
All The Mods 10 is the kitchen sink pack. Hundreds of mods, tech, magic and exploration. It's heavy: plan for 8–10 GB of RAM or more.
RLCraft
RLCraft is the famous hardcore survival pack. Dragons, thirst, temperature. Around 6–8 GB.
Create packs
Create packs, like Create Above and Beyond, are perfect for engineers, and lighter. Five to seven gigabytes is usually plenty.
More packs
Vault Hunters brings roguelike progression for long-term servers. Pixelmon is evergreen for public servers. And Better MC and Prominence feel like a polished vanilla plus. All of them want around 6–8 GB.
The RAM rule
The rule of thumb: small packs under 100 mods run on 4–6 GB. Packs with 200 mods or more want 8–12 GB.
Recap
Pick the pack for your group first, then size the RAM. Minecraft modpack hosting at esagames.ro.
