Intro
Garry's Mod has almost no admin commands on its own. Here's how to set up ULX, and the commands that matter.
Install ULX
Install ULX and its dependency, ULib, into your addons folder, and restart.
Chat vs console
In chat, use an exclamation mark, like !kick. In the server console, type ulx first, like ulx kick. And ulx help lists every command.
Players
For players: kick, ban with minutes, zero is permanent, ban by Steam ID, and unban.
Punish
To control them: slay, freeze, jail, gag to block text chat, and mute to block voice.
Movement & maps
To move around: god, noclip, bring a player to you, or goto to jump to them. Map changes the map.
Groups
Make someone admin with ulx adduser, the player, and the group, admin or superadmin. Only trusted people get those groups.
