Squad admin and RCON commands

Run Squad admin commands in-game (Admins.cfg, the ~ console) or over RCON: ListPlayers for player IDs, AdminKick, AdminKickById, AdminBan, AdminForceTeamChange, AdminChangeLayer, AdminSetNextLayer, AdminRestartMatch and AdminBroadcast.

Intro

Here are the Squad admin commands that matter, and how to run them in-game or over RCON.

Admins.cfg

To be an admin, your Steam ID and group must be in Admins.cfg. Then press the tilde key in-game to open the admin console.

RCON

Or connect an RCON client, with your server IP, the RCON port, and the password from your config.

ListPlayers

Always start with ListPlayers. It shows every player's ID, and the kick and ban commands need it.

Kick & ban

AdminKick and AdminKickById remove a player. AdminBan bans them, zero means permanent. AdminForceTeamChange moves a player to the other team.

Match control

For the match: AdminChangeLayer switches the layer now, AdminSetNextLayer picks the next one, and AdminRestartMatch starts over. Layer names must be exact.

Broadcast

And AdminBroadcast sends a message to everyone on the server.
