Uses the Steam A2S query. Some games use a separate query port (often game port +1). Hosting Minecraft? Use our Minecraft status checker.

Game server status checker — FAQ
How do I check if a game server is online?
Enter the server's ip:port above and click "Check status". We send a Steam A2S query and show whether it's online, plus the player count, current map and ping.
Which games does it support?
Any game that uses the Steam (Source) A2S query — CS2, CS:GO, Counter-Strike 1.6, Team Fortress 2, Rust, ARK, Garry's Mod, Squad, Insurgency, Day of Defeat and many more. For Minecraft, use our dedicated Minecraft status checker.
What port should I use?
Most Source games use 27015. Rust uses 28015. Some games (like ARK) use a separate query port, often the game port +1 — check your server's query port if 27015 doesn't respond.
Why does it say my server is offline?
The server may be down, on a different query port, behind a firewall blocking A2S queries, or not a Steam-based game. Double-check the IP and the query port.
Is the player count live?
Yes — it's the count the server reports right now in its A2S response, the same number shown in the in-game server browser.
Is the checker free?
Completely free, no login or sign-up. Use it as often as you like.
