SCUM Server Hosting for a map that never sleeps
Run a 24/7 SCUM server in Frankfurt on Xeon Gold hardware with NVMe SSD and multi-Tbps Anti-DDoS. SCUM is one of the heaviest survival games to host — this is hardware sized for it.
Plans from €29.00EUR per month
A dedicated SCUM server keeps the island persistent, so bases, vehicles and your squad's progress are still there tomorrow. SCUM is demanding by design: the simulation runs across a huge open map and keeps running between sessions, which is why it needs more hardware than most survival games.
Every plan runs in Frankfurt behind our multi-Tbps Anti-DDoS network on Xeon Gold 6230R CPUs with NVMe SSD storage, managed from an easy control panel — online in minutes with 24/7 in-house support.
Everything your SCUM server needs
SCUM simulates a very large island in detail — metabolism, vehicles, puppets and loot all tick whether players are watching or not. That costs CPU and memory, and it is where cheap hosting falls over.
Persistent island
Bases, vehicles, loot and your character's stats persist between sessions — the island keeps ticking without you.
Hardware that keeps up
Xeon Gold 6230R cores handle SCUM's heavy simulation so a populated server stays playable instead of rubber-banding.
Full server settings
Edit ServerSettings.ini from the panel — loot, metabolism, fame, respawn costs and squad limits are all yours to tune.
Anti-DDoS included
Every server is filtered through our multi-Tbps Frankfurt network — no boots during a raid, no mystery downtime.
NVMe storage
SCUM's save database is large and busy. NVMe keeps saves and restarts fast instead of a long freeze.
Automatic backups
Scheduled backups so a bad wipe or a corrupt save never costs the whole server its progress.
Built for SCUM players, not just servers
Hardware, network and protection tuned for game hosting — hosted in one of Europe's best-connected data centres.
Multi-Tbps Anti-DDoS
Every server is filtered through our own 13 Tbps+ Frankfurt network and custom XDP layer — attacks are absorbed before they reach you. Learn more →
Instant setup
Your SCUM server is deployed automatically right after checkout — online in minutes, not hours.
Low EU latency
Frankfurt is the heart of European networking. Players across the EU get a stable, low ping for smooth gameplay.
Easy control panel
Start, stop, restart, edit configs, install mods/plugins and manage files from a clean web panel — no Linux knowledge needed.
High-clock CPUs + NVMe
Game servers love fast single-core performance. Our nodes run high-clock CPUs with NVMe SSDs for quick world loads.
24/7 in-house support
Real people who host games for a living — not a generic call centre. We help you get set up and stay online.
How to make a SCUM server
From zero to online in four steps — no technical experience required.
Pick a plan
Size for slot count first — SCUM wants 8 GB to start and noticeably more once a public server fills up.
Tune the island
Set loot rates, metabolism, fame points, respawn costs and squad size from ServerSettings.ini in the panel.
Add your admins
Drop your Steam IDs into the admin file and you have in-game admin commands straight away.
Instant deploy
Your server and panel access are ready within minutes of checkout. Share the IP and drop in.

SCUM hosting questions, answered
How much RAM does a SCUM server need?
8 GB is the minimum to run at all. A populated server with 20 or more players wants 8–12 GB, and a full 64-slot server with heavy base building is comfortable at 12–16 GB.
What ports does SCUM use?
UDP 7042 for game traffic and UDP 27915 for the Steam query by default. Note the query port must stay outside the 27020–27050 range, which Steam reserves. On our managed hosting the ports are set up for you.
How many players can a SCUM server hold?
64 is the usual ceiling communities run. Whether it stays smooth at that number depends on how much is built on the map, which is why the hardware matters here more than in lighter survival games.
Can I change loot and metabolism rates?
Yes — ServerSettings.ini is editable from the panel, so loot, metabolism, fame, respawn costs and squad limits are all under your control.
Is it DDoS protected?
Always — every server is filtered through our multi-Tbps Frankfurt network.
Can I move an existing SCUM server here?
Yes. Upload your existing save database through the file manager and your island, bases and characters carry over.
