BepInEx — the mod loader
Nearly every Valheim mod needs BepInEx, the modding framework. Install it on the server and on each client first — nothing else loads without it. For server-side mods, clients usually need the same ones; if a server won't list after modding, see our guide on Valheim servers not showing.
Quality of life
- Equipment & Quick Slots — extra hotbar slots for gear; a near-essential QoL pick.
- PlantEverything — plant trees, berries and more for proper farms.
